Fourth Annual Pathway Home Fall Gala a Great Success
Two hundred and eight people attended the 4th Annual Gala for Pathway Home of the Finger Lakes, held at Ventosa Vineyard on Friday October 28, 2016.
Sixty-eight gift baskets and fifteen silent auction items were donated by Seneca County businesses and individuals. This year’s Gala has been the most successful fund raising event for the comfort care home.
The announcement was made by Roderick Coe, Chairman of the Board of Directors, that the home has completed its renovations and has been awarded its Certificate of Occupancy.
Coe states, “Thank you to all who have made this possible! More than ever we need continued financial support to meet our operating expenses.”
Coe also announced that Karen Beals has rejoined Pathway Home as its interim Executive Director. Beals was the Executive Director of the Seneca County United Way and a past Pathway Home board member.
Plans are under way to hold a series of open houses for the public to tour the home. Volunteer recruitment is also under way to staff the home. Volunteers will receive training provided by Lifetime Care Hospice.
