Pathway Home of the Finger Lakes

The annual Butterfly Release Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, June 14, at the Elks Lodge, 2221 River Road in Seneca Falls.

Butterflies may be purchased and released at the event or taken elsewhere. The event is open to the public and no purchase is required.

Pickup will be available from 10 to 11 a.m. and there will be a brief ceremony at 11 a.m. which will feature the Mynderse Academy Chorus. Participants are encouraged to bring pictures of their loved ones to be displayed at the ceremony.

The on-site release will take place following the ceremony. Light refreshments also will be available.

Orders for butterflies must be received by May 28. Butterflies cost $12 each and can be ordered online below, or by mail using this form.
