Fall Gala Preparations

Preparations for the Fall Gala are well underway.  We are reaching out to local businesses for donations for our basket raffle and silent auction. We have been fortunate enough to have had a donation for a 4 night stay at a cottage on Cayuga Lake and donations from local wineries and distilleries to add to our always amazing baskets.  Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Please send us an email with your information and we will contact you.

Tickets for the Gala are available for purchase at Ciccino’s on Main Street in Waterloo or at North Street Pharmacy in the medical office building next to Geneva General Hospital.  You may also request tickets by sending us an email or leaving a message on our Facebook page. fall-gala-poster-locations

Recent Happenings

The Seneca Falls Elks applied for and received a Community Grant in the amount of $1000.00.  Each year the Elks selects a local organization to donate the money.  Pathway Home was selected for 2016.

The Seneca County Children’s Committee Donated a bench for the gardens in memory of Diana Becker, who was active with the Children’s Committee and was one of the founding members of Pathway Home and the first Board Chairperson.

Lowe’s Local Hero’s Rewards Program

Earlier this year Lisa Hochadel and Sal Franzone talked to the Waterloo Lowe’s manager who encouraged us to apply for a program they offer for nonprofits. This year we were the recipients of the Lowe’s Local Hero’s Rewards Program. They Donated $2500.00 in materials for our landscaping and gardens. Lowe’s employees volunteered to come to Pathway and on Tuesday did a wonderful job of putting in new plantings and doing the landscaping. They also provided us with furniture for the back deck! Our heartfelt thanks go out to them and to our board members from Pathway who were able to go out and work with them. And a big thank you to Lisa Hochadel for applying for the program and helping to organize the work day.
